The Denver Nuggets selected Michael Porter Jr. with the 14th overall pick in the NBA Draft. This is a high risk, but high reward pick.
While his back problems are certainly a concern, thus why he fell so far down in the lottery, it was too much potential for Denver to pass up on. Porter Jr. will be able to fill the void at the three spot and blend in extremely well with the young core the Denver Nuggets possess.
He may have only played three games at Missouri this past season, however, many mock drafts had him going as high as the second overall pick in this year’s draft.
