Goodwin never played a minute for the Denver Nuggets, but considering they had just signed him, it was a surprise that they went a different direction so quickly.
Of course, that direction culminated in the signing of 12 year veteran guard, Nick Young, or as some know him, “Swaggy P.”
Young was a free-agent, coming off of an NBA championship victory with the Golden State Warriors and had remained unsigned after a successful season. Now, as was the same in the Goodwin signing, Young has been signed on an injury exception, which means that he can stay with the team as long as four or more players are on the injury report.
