Torrey Craig remains with the Nuggets and is available to play Thursday against Oklahoma City. Nuggets coach Michael Malone said following Tuesday’s loss in San Antonio that Craig is nearing the end of his 45 days with the Nuggets as part of his two-way contract.
How many days does Craig have left before he must either return to the G League or sign a full contract with Denver? That’s unclear, thanks to loopholes the Nuggets and other NBA teams are milking during this first season with two-way contracts. For instance, days are not “counted” when the Nuggets don’t practice or when Craig flies commercially to a road game rather than on the team charter.
