TORONTO — Jamal Murray now has a better sense of how it feels to play in his hometown arena. But the Kitchener, Ontario, native and Nuggets point guard acknowledges there’s still a sense of pride when he walks inside the Air Canada Centre, with memories of watching Vince Carter and Dell Curry as a kid flooding back.
“A lot of effort to get here,” Murray said outside the Nuggets locker room prior Tuesday night’s matchup against the Raptors.
Murray is coming down the stretch of his second NBA season and first as a full-time starting point guard.
