For the first time in six seasons, the Denver Nuggets made it to the playoffs at the end of the 2018-19 season. Heading into the 2019 season, they’ll be looking to build on that behind the strength of their young core. While player development will be one of their goals, they’ll also be looking to build on the team’s success from last year. If you’re not moving forward, you’re moving backward, and the team doesn’t want to be moving backward.
The Western Conference will likely have a new representative in the NBA finals next year with the Golden State Warriors’ dynasty coming to an end at the hands of the Toronto Raptors, and the Nuggets have the opportunity to be that team.
