SALT LAKE CITY – The pain in his right thigh finally got to a point where Danilo Gallinari not only couldn’t play, but was even feeling it when he walked.
So the decision was made to shut him down Wednesday night rather than play against the Utah Jazz.
“I don’t know,” Gallinari said. “It’s just getting worse day by day. So we’re just trying to figure out what it is. I don’t know if it’s a strain, a bruise, we don’t know.”
Gallinari said he has been dealing with the pain for about a week, but he’s not exactly sure how the thigh became injured.
