Danilo Gallinari had a terrific end to last season, getting himself healthy and in great shape. From the All Star break through to the playoffs, Gallo averaged 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals on 44.3% from the field and 40.4% from three. Those numbers are brilliant. He was efficient, played defense, and put the ball in the basket.
Now, Danilo is preparing to represent Italy in EuroBasket 2015. From Gazetta dello Sport:
“I can’t wait to play for the national team. It’s an experienced group with many leaders.”
These offseason international competitions can be both beneficial and detrimental to players’ NBA seasons.
