PORTLAND, ORE.— Gary Harris’ absence wasn’t apparent until the third quarter of Sunday night’s game at the Moda Center.
The Nuggets held their own but with Harris — who puts up an average 10.8 points per game — watching from the locker room with a right ankle injury, Denver could only hold on for so long and the Trail Blazers defeated the Nuggets 112-105.
Danilo Gallinari and Jamal Murray led the way for the Nuggets with 19 points each and Wilson Chandler, who has been battling a hamstring injury, put up 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
