“Is he not playing?” Portland’s star guard said late Monday morning, raising a curious eyebrow when reporters asked him about the status of the Trail Blazers center, who’d separated his shoulder during a Game 5 win over Oklahoma City in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
The Nuggets host the Blazers on Monday night at the Pepsi Center for Game 1 of their best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal matchup.
“I would assume (he’s playing); I haven’t heard anything other than that,” Lillard said of Kanter.
