At a great charitable even, coaches all across Denver history came to celebrate the lives of cancer survivors everywhere in honor of Joan B. Ficke. Today, Dan Issel stopped to talk to Jeff about the charity and his Denver Nuggets memories
Bill Ficke got involved with Coaches vs. Cancer (The JoAnn B Ficke Memorial Cancer Fund), along with the 9-11 Memorial Fund in the Denver Metro Area, largely because he felt he had to give back ask a New Yorker and after his wife JoAnn passed away far too soon from Cancer. Coaches from all spectrum's of Denver sports came down to help Bill honor the memory of his late wife and raise money for those who are battling cancer everywhere.
