Beasley started off February in grandiose fashion.
The 6-5, 195-pounder out of Florida State dropped a career-high 35 points on 13-for-17 shooting while going 5 of 9 from 3-point range, to lead the Nuggets to a 136-122 win against the Houston Rockets in a nationally-televised game on Feb. 1.
The third-year shooting guard’s play to start the month was no aberration either. He led the Nuggets with 22 points in their next outing, a 107-106 win on the road against Minnesota on the second night of a back-to-back and averaged 21.7 in Denver’s first four games this month.
