Basketball fans in the Mile High City can finally rest easy. With an impressive 103-87 win over the Miami Heat Monday, the Denver Nuggets are seemingly back on track.
They brought an impressive energy — especially on the defensive end — to snap a three-game skid and get their feet back under them before the All-Star break.
“It was a good win,” Malone said after the game. “After you lose three in a row, you need everybody to step up. And I think we had that tonight.”
Nikola Jokic and Malik Beasley led Denver with 23 points each, and Monte Morris added 17 off the bench.
