The ping pong balls are in, and the Denver Nuggets will pick 11th in the 2014 NBA Draft. Their 36-46 record from 2013-14, 11th worst in the league, qualifies them for the pick.
The last lottery pick that the Nuggets had came in 2003 with the third overall selection of Carmelo Anthony. The year before in 2002, the Nuggets took big man Nikoloz Tskitishvili at number five overall - who averaged just 2.9 ppg over his career.
Even at number 11, there’s certainly no lack of talent in this year's pool for Denver to choose from.
The 2014 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday, June 26.
