When the Broncos broke for summer vacation in mid-June, they envisioned a cornerback group of Chris Harris, Bradley Roby, Tramaine Brock, Brendan Langley and Isaac Yiadom.
More than five months later, that vision became reality when Langley was promoted from the practice squad this week to replace Adam Jones, who was cut on Tuesday. Particularly for Yiadom and Langley, much is at stake for the final six games beginning Sunday against Pittsburgh.
A rookie third round pick, Yiadom will get an opportunity to prove he could be the team’s second or third cornerback in 2019.
