Bobby Massie swears he and his wife, Angel, didn’t have a premonition last September when they bought a house in Castle Rock even though he was in the second season of a four-year contract with the Chicago Bears.
“It worked out perfectly,” he said with a laugh.
Months later, after the Bears declined Massie’s option, the Broncos signed him with the hope he’s the ideal-and-maybe-even-perfect solution to stop their revolving door at right tackle.
The Broncos started two right tackles in 2018, three in ’19 when big-ticket acquisition Ja’Wuan James was hobbled by multiple injuries to the same knee and three last year when James opted out of the season.
