A pair of former Broncos second-round picks headline players with Colorado connections selected in Wednesday’s 2022 XFL draft.
Former Denver receiver Cody Latimer and safety Rahim Moore are among the names announced in the initial draft for the third iteration of the league originally founded by retired WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.
The 30-year-old Latimer, selected by the Broncos with the 56th overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft, was picked by the Orlando Guardians in the 11th round (84th overall pick) in the offensive skills portion. He played four seasons in Denver, totaling 35 catches for 445 yards and three touchdowns.
