ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Broncos signed Shaun Prater after a Tuesday tryout to fill an immediate need in the secondary, but six of the other seven players they brought in for workouts Tuesday were front-seven prospects who will be in the mix for reserve-future contracts that will fill spots on the offseason 90-man roster.
Two of the seven players were linebackers: Thomas Keisser, who has played 27 career games, most recently for the Arizona Cardinals, and Dekoda Watson, a 27-year-old linebacker who played two games with the Patriots earlier this season but amassed most of his experience in four seasons (2010-13) with the Buccaneers, for whom he played 60 games and made 106 tackles with three sacks, four passes defensed and an interception.
