Von Miller’s holdout from the Broncos’ offseason workout program and organized team activities is business, a mantra the all-pro outside linebacker has used repeatedly and one defensive coordinator Wade Phillips reiterated Thursday.
“Everyone knows what the situation is,” Phillips said. “But this club is always going to take care of somebody who helped them win a championship like that. So I feel like things will get worked out.”
Miller, the Super Bowl 50 MVP, was given the Broncos’ exclusive franchise tag but has yet to sign the tender as his agent and the team work toward a long-term contract.
