Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller and San Francisco 49ers defensive end Tony Jerod-Eddie aren’t related by blood, but the two couldn’t be any closer.
Miller will get to spend the next few days with the man he’s called his brother since high school.
The two grew up together in Desoto, Texas, a suburb just outside of Dallas. Just one year apart, they played football together at Desoto High School and Jerod-Eddie then followed Miller to Texas A&M for college ball.
As shown by his tattoo below, Miller takes a lot of pride in his hometown.
Their relationship reached new heights in high school during the summer before Jerod-Eddie’s sophomore year.
