Sam Jones sounds like an 18th century American Revolution hero, but he could be the late round hero the Denver Broncos need in sixth round.
The team was rumored to be in on offensive line players in the NFL Draft early. They chose not to take one until the 183rd overall pick. However, there’s decent enough tape on Sam Jones and he gives the Broncos good depth at guard.
Jones is a local product of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He attended ThunderRidge High School and committed to Arizona State.
What a cool moment for the Denver Broncos to draft a native of the state and compete for a starting spot.
