Per news released Wednesday, the Denver Broncos have hired a new sideline reporter for their radio broadcasts this season. The Broncos hired veteran Denver radio personality Susie Wargin to replace Tyler Polumbus on KOA 850-AM and 94.1-FM-KOA, the team’s flagship radio station.
Wargin, a fourth-generation Coloradan, has been a staple of Denver radio for almost 20 years. A Colorado State graduate, she commenced her professional radio career at 93.3 FM KTCL in Wheat Ridge, Colo. doing weekend overnight shifts.
She then spent nine years at 107.9-FM KBPI of Parker, Colo. and currently serves as the mid-day personality at 103.
