DENVER -- The Denver Broncos decided against the upgrade for left tackle Ty Sambrailo and that the rookie needed another week to recover from a shoulder injury he suffered in a Week 3 win over the Detroit Lions.
Sambrailo was one of the Broncos' seven game-day inactives Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers. It will be the fourth consecutive game Sambrailo has missed. Ryan Harris and Tyler Polumbus are expected to split at left tackle against the Packers.
Sambrailo had been listed as doubtful Friday for the game, but coach Gary Kubiak said he was going to hold out the possibility of upgrading Sambrailo to participate after the coaches reviewed the practice video from the week.
