All signs point toward the Broncos playing without starting left tackle Ty Sambrailo when they host the Vikings on Sunday.
Sambrailo was absent for the third consecutive practice Friday because of a shoulder injury, an indication he may not be fit to play Sunday. Denver signed veteran offensive tackle Tyler Polumbus on Thursday, but coach Gary Kubiak and offensive coordinator Rick Dennison both refused to say if the newcomer will start Sunday.
Polumbus, an eight-year veteran, spent his first two seasons in the league with the Broncos after going undrafted in 2008 and has experience in the zone-blocking system, after stints in Seattle and Atlanta.
