T.J. Ward and Omar Bolden were both absent from the early viewing period of practice, which was held outdoors for the first time this week. Darian Stewart, who hasn't practiced all week because of a hamstring injury, observed from the side of the field.
Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips said Thursday that practice isn't necessary for Ward to play Sunday, but that Friday's practice would go a long way toward determining who would be available.
