Timeline of Broncos coach Gary Kubiak’s known health scares

Nov. 3, 2013 – Kubiak collapsed on the field in what was later diagnosed as a transient ischemic attack (TIA), or mini-stroke, during halftime of the Texans game against Indianapolis. He was hospitalized for two days.

Nov. 10, 2013 – Then-Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips assumed head coach duties the following week and for Houston’s game against Arizona while Kubiak took the week to rest.

Nov. 11, 2013 – Kubiak returned to work on a limited basis for the first time since the mini-stroke.
