Sloter time
Kyle Sloter, the undrafted rookie quarterback from Northern Colorado, will play the entire game, barring injury. He was originally slated to play the second half of Thursday’s game, but backup quarterback Paxton Lynch is out with a sprained shoulder. Sloter, who has completed 16-of-20 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns this preseason, could be playing for a spot on the 53-man roster as the backup to starter Trevor Siemian, a scenario that seemed highly unlikely when training camp began at the end of July.
