ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Opposing defenses that have been willing to add a defensive back to the pass rush have found some success throughout the season against the Denver Broncos.
It started back in September when Baltimore Ravens cornerback Kyle Arrington plowed into quarterback Peyton Manning to force an incompletion on what could have been a touchdown throw to Emmanuel Sanders and later in the game Arrington hit Manning again and forced the interception Jimmy Smith returned for a touchdown.
And oh so many months later, it wasn’t the Pittsburgh Steelers’ leader in sacks -- Cameron Heyward -- or James Harrison that put the biggest hit on Manning in Sunday’s AFC divisional round game.
