The Baltimore Ravens’ overpowering defense took plenty away from the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night. The Ravens took away the football three times. And, in all likelihood, they took away the Chargers’ chance to be the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.
The Ravens beat the Chargers, 22-10, in L.A. behind a defense that dominated the game all night and then scored the touchdown that sealed the outcome. It was a Ravens’ victory that changed a few things in the AFC’s postseason outlook.
The Chargers entered the game as the league’s latest “it” team. They had won 10 of their last 11 games.
