INDIANAPOLIS – If Arizona develops an infatuation with quarterback Kyler Murray, it will push Dwayne Haskins into the No. 2 quarterback slot of next month’s NFL Draft.
Which he is fine with.
“It’s not that important to me,” Haskins said Friday at the Scouting Combine of being the first passer selected. “For me, it’s about being with the right franchise, being with the right team and winning a Super Bowl.
“I don’t really care how it works — QB1 or QB2.”
Like Murray for Oklahoma, Haskins was a one-year wonder for Ohio State, but what a wonderful year it was — a Big Ten record 50 touchdown passes and 4,831 passing yards.
