One teacher in Tacoma, Wash., is a big-time Broncos hater.
The elementary school teacher told her 5-year-old student Zyliah that she couldn’t don her Denver Broncos gear to school for “Blue Friday,” according to KDVR.
“She walked up to me and I knew something was wrong,” Fawn Allen, Zyliah’s grandmother, told KDVR. “She just kind of put her head down and said, ‘Grandma, Mrs. Watson told me I can’t wear my Broncos dress. If I don’t have a Seahawks shirt I have to wear my uniform.’ ”
According to the Tacoma School District, ” ‘Blue Friday’ means all teachers and students can wear gear from whatever team they want” and the teacher did not understand the rules of what “Blue Friday” means.
