The switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense perhaps places more pressure on Sylvester Williams than any defender on the Broncos. But the third-year tackle says he ready. He's eager for the opportunity, and has taken steps to prove to the team's new coaching staff he can fill the void left by Terrance Knighton and take the reins at nose tackle.
It started a couple months ago when Williams chose to stay in Colorado to use the Broncos' facilities to hone his game and conditioning this offseason.
"I already went into this offseason with a lot of motivation from within," Williams said Wednesday.
