The Denver Broncos lost both lines of scrimmage against the Detroit Lions. The offensive line was consistently pushed back when they tried to run the ball and most Bronco runners were having to dodge tacklers in the backfield to make yardage. The team did finish with 27 carries for 84 yards (3.11 YPC), but most of that came from Samaje Perine and Marvin Mims who got 48 of that 84 on 7 carries and even on those runs the runners were having to avoid tacklers in the backfield. The other Bronco runners (Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin and Russell Wilson) carried the ball 20 times for 36 yards.
