Broncos senior personnel advisor Gary Kubiak will interview for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ vacant offensive coordinator position this week, according to a league source.
The source said the Jaguars asked and received permission from the Broncos on Friday to reach out to Kubiak to gauge his interest. On Friday, it was revealed that Kubiak would not be the Broncos’ next offensive coordinator for new coach Vic Fangio.
The Jaguars fired Nathaniel Hackett on Nov. 26 in the midst of a seven-game losing streak. Quarterbacks coach Scott Milanovich called the plays for the final five games (2-3 record).
