The Denver Broncos Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg early Sunday morning in Dallas, Texas as first reported by WFAA-TV. He is currently recovering in a Dallas area hospital but more on the incident has come to light.
Multiple sources close to the situation tell BSN Denver that the gunshot wound was self-inflicted. While an NFL source confirmed that the injury did not require major surgery, the self-inflicted wound will have possible legal and professional ramifications for the 30-year old cornerback.
Initial reports said that multiple people were involved in an argument at the Dallas area V Live nightclub and multiple people were shot at or near the scene.
