The Denver Broncos dodged a bullet Wednesday. That’s always a good sign during OTA’s. While the hip injury sustained by linebacker Shaq Barrett has him out for 2-3 months, the Broncos got good news.
As always, when the Denver Post’s Nicki Jhabvala provides information, it’s accurate.
The 6’1″ 251-pound Barrett is entering his fourth season out of Colorado State. Thus far, he has forced five fumbles and defensed six passes.
The Broncos are thin at outside linebacker. Therefore, the injury to Barrett is a cause of concern.
Some Broncos fans suggest bringing in a blast from the past.
