Yesterday, the Denver Broncos announced that rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been named the starting quarterback. He has been in a competition with veteran Jarrett Stidham and former number two overall pick Zach Wilson. It eventually came down to Stidham and Nix but the rookie separated himself during training camp and the preseason and earned himself the starting job. Now, the focus is on the backup quarterback job. Who will the backup be? Will the Broncos keep all three quarterbacks and if they do not, who do they move on from?
Well, after today’s practice, head coach Sean Payton did not give too much insight into that pending decision but did give some high praise for former number two overall pick Zach Wilson.
