The first public training camp practice session for the Denver Broncos happened yesterday and the fans definitely showed up. No doubt the presence of a first-round quarterback in Bo Nix taking his first snaps in front of fans was the huge draw. From reports yesterday, he surely didn’t disappoint.
Head Coach Sean Payton also likes having the fans around. He said afterwards that their presence brings a more competitive environment to practice.
“Anytime people are watching, I think it brings out—there’s a little bit more of a competitive environment,” Payton said. “I think that’s the case from my experience, especially when you have a good turnout like we did.
