Broncos safety Caden Sterns started training camp on the PUP(physically unable to perform) list but was present for the early portions of today’s practice. This means the rehabbing safety was able to pass his physical and rejoin the team on the practice field. Head coach Sean Payton confirmed as much after practice and mentioned the team is going to take it slow with Sterns moving forward.
Caden Sterns has passed his physical to be allowed back onto the field. Payton said now they have to be very “smart” how they work him back into things.

Sterns suffered a torn patellar tendon during the Broncos' week one loss to the Raiders last season and that cost him the entire season.
