ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — What at first seemed like a minor injury during the first day of OTAs has ended Ryan Clady's 2015 season, the Broncos announced on Friday.
Clady was placed on injured reserve after suffering a left ACL tear during practice on Wednesday.
It's a sadly premature end to Clady's year, losing not only a four-time Pro Bowl and two-time First-Team All-Pro tackle on the field but also a great deal of veteran leadership on an offensive line that looks to incorporate youth heavily as they adjust to a new scheme.
"My heart goes out to Ryan because I know how much work he’s put in to being a professional athlete and we have a great relationship," Offensive Coordinator Rick Dennison said on Thursday.
