SAN JOSE — Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera is using the incident of a Broncos practice-squad player's involvement with a prostitution ring as a cautionary tale for his team.
"Yes, we did talk about what happened," Rivera said Wednesday as the Panthers began working on its game plan for Sunday's Super Bowl. "Again, it goes back to the talk Eugene Robinson gave to us before we boarded our airplane (for Charlotte, N.C.). We talked to them to stay ahead of something like that so it doesn't become a distraction, like (the Broncos) are dealing with now.
