Rod Smith stresses family, leadership to talented Broncos roster

After Monday's downpour of rain forced the Broncos to cancel Tuesday's practice to the public, one would expect the field to be in dire shape. One would be wrong.

The Broncos ground crew, after having fun paddling in the flooded field Monday, transformed the field back to normal overnight.

Tuesday brought out more upbeat rap and pop music, but the lack of fans took a bit of the air out of the sail.

On the field, cornerbacks Chris Harris Jr. and Kayvon Webster, and outside linebacker Lerentee McCray were non-participants. They worked out on the sidelines with trainers.
