There's a few things that we shouldn't ever joke about — no matter how much time has passed due to the devastation it caused: Slavery, the Holocaust, 9/11 World Trade Center attack and Hurricane Katrina are obvious to name a handful.
Apparently, former New Orleans defensive coordinator Rob Ryan didn't get the memo.
Ryan spent time on the NFL Network set Sunday morning and talked about his Saints dismissal. He didn't quite like being the scapegoat of the team's struggles. In his words, "everything in New Orleans is being blamed on me, including Katrina."
You would think Ryan would be particularly careful talking about the natural disaster that killed nearly 2,000 people, displaced hundreds of thousands from their homes and cost more than $100 billion in damages back in August 2005.
