Report: Shaquil Barrett to visit Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday

The now-former Denver Broncos edge rusher Shaquil Barrett is making his first stop in free agency. He’ll visit the Cincinnati Bengals, per a report from Pro Football Talk.

Barrett, 26, was an undrafted player out of Colorado State in 2014 who found his way into some playing time during the Broncos 2015 Super Bowl run. He has amassed 14 sacks in a reserve role in four seasons since and has graded out as a very reliable run stopper.

He wants to go somewhere that will have a starting edge rushing position open and the Bengals do have just that.
