It’s “Black Monday”, the dark period the day after the regular season where teams often fire their head coaches. The Patriots started early by firing Jerod Mayo after one season while the Jets, Bears, and Saints all fired their head coach during the season. The Jags kicked things off on Monday by announcing they would be firing coach Doug Pederson. The Broncos have had their share of head coaching firings in recent years, but thankfully, they are in a much better position with head coach Sean Payton. So good in fact that they have other teams eyeing one of their coordinators this coaching cycle.
