According to NFL Network’s Tom Peliserro, the Atlanta Falcons are signing former Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons to a one-year, $8 million dollar deal. He met with the Saints last week and spent time with the Falcons this week and now joins their secondary.

The Denver Broncos released longtime safety Justin Simmons back in March and the veteran safety remained unsigned throughout the season and most of training camp.
