According to reports, the Denver Broncos have placed rookie safety Jamar Johnson and rookie cornerback Kary Vincent on the reserve-Covid- 19 list. This means that either both players have tested positive for Covid-19 or that they were deemed close contacts of someone who did.
Hopefully, both players are staying healthy and make a full recovery from this if they do indeed test positive.
It’s unclear how long both will be sidelined but missing any amount of time could be detrimental to the development of both. Johnson was selected in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Broncos and figured to be in competition to be the team's third safety this season.
