DiNucci was signed last year at this time after he took part in the Broncos rookie minicamp. He stuck with the team throughout the year and served as their third quarterback behind Russell Wilson and Jarrett Stidham. However, after the team drafted Bo Nix with the 12th overall pick in the 2024 overall draft and traded for former second overall pick Zach Wilson, DiNucci was put on the hot seat.
