Report: Broncos had a pre-draft visit with Toledo wide receiver, Diontae Johnson

According to NBC Sports’s Josh Norris, the Denver Broncos had a pre-draft visit with former Toledo wide receiver Diontae Johnson today.

Johnson is a 5’10”, 183lb wide receiver who played his college ball at Toledo. He ran a 4.53 40-time at the NFL Scouting Combine and is compared to current Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders by NFL Network’s draft analyst, Lance Zierlein.

Here is what Zierlein has to say about Johnson in his scouting report for him on NFL.com.

Despite a lack of desired size, Johnson might have the ability to play inside or outside thanks to his speed and ability to elude press from his release.
