According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos had a pre-draft visit/workout with Georgia linebacker Lorenzo Carter today.
Carter is an intriguing linebacker prospect who could be a day two option for the Broncos. He is listed at 6’6”, 250lbs with 34” arms and 10 3/8” hands. Add that with 4.5 speed and you have an athletic freak who can play many different roles for an NFL defense.
He played four seasons at Georgia and put up some good numbers. During his four-year career, Carter totaled 166 tackles, 21.5 tackles for a loss, 14 sacks, 1 pass deflection, 6 fumble recoveries, 6 forced fumbles, and 1 defensive touchdown.
