Referees' botch of Seahawks-Lions fourth quarter call is inexcusable

It's the Detroit Lions, right? They should be used to it. Their history has been marred in losing for 50 years now. They are the only NFC team to never play in the Super Bowl.

So when the Lions get robbed, bamboozled, stripped of a season-saving road win in Seattle Monday night due to referee error, we should all be OK with it.

Instead of being given the ball back on the Seahawks' 1-yard-line, the Lions had to hopelessly watch their win being given away.
